Hello all, has anyone heard of http://gorgeousgrazing.co.uk in Cornwall? Still looking for affordable retirement for one of our old polo ponies, and they've quoted a very good rate (£25pw with farrier etc extra..). Seems very affordable and looks lovely, but would be interested to hear if anyone's sent their old friend there?

It's ran by the parents of a friend. I've meet them and they seemed lovely, knowledgable people. They offered to take my veteran boy when I lost my old girl but I decided to get a younger horse to ride again. Plus couldn't face not seeing his face too so soon after her death :(

I would however consider them if anything happened to my younger boy or if I had to sell him etc. Seemed llike the perfect answer. I haven't actually been to their yard personally, but i'm sure they would happily show you round if you asked.

Thank you so much - that's really helpful to hear, thank you.

I am going to head down to see it next month. I just want her to be happy and looked after, hopefully this will be the right place for her.

I've never heard of them but "Gorgeous Grazing's Equine retreat basks in the warm semi-tropical climate blown up from the Gulf of Mexico." Haha whatever next, that did make me laugh like its like this down here...I'm
Sure the place is lovely, their description just made me chuckle :D

Ha ha made me laugh too, she must have her own micro-climate to us, and we're only a few miles down the road, as we have an annual rainfall of 80 inches a year!

I have delivered several horses and ponies to Kim and even been involved with the R.S.P.C.A. in taking horses to her under Welfare seasures. All the horses are looked after really well and run in groups in large fields with plenty of shelter.
