Swellings along the jaw line where your horses head attaches to the neck, but not strangles? What is it?
 
My Aunts Arab x used to get this.

Used to look like a hamster for a week or so, sound the same? - They moved him to a different paddock and it went down after that.

I think they assumed it was just a reaction.
 
Thanks all, he is in on a night an out during the day. Temp, eating normal and he is acting as normal
 
If its out grazing, its grass humour or grass glands. All of mine get it and yes associated with stuffing in grass. MIne seem to get bigger on starvation paddocks, I guess as the head is down all day!
 
hamster cheeks - very common. the parotid salivary duct swells from producing so much saliva to help digest all that rich grass they're stuffing!
 
!! Mine used to get this and I did wonder what on earth it was !! Now I know
