Has anyone ridden at Summerhouse Equestrian?

As the title says, has anyone ridden at Summerhouse?

Am possibly looking at having some Schoolmaster lessons there and just wondered what people's experiences were.

If you're after schoolmaster lessons, then I would go to Talland over Summerhouse. Every time.

I've previously had lessons at Talland and am looking around for other places.

I think Talland has changed since they moved from Siddington.

I watched a friend have a lesson on an advanced horse at Talland. The horse was barely sound, the school was full of other horses and the lesson poor, not to mention expensive.

This was a few years ago and things may have changed. We have only competed at Summerhouse so cannot comment on the teaching standards.

I haven't ridden there but I am local and considering going to watch a few lessons to see if I could like it as Huntley is closing on 1st November
I have previously used the search tool on here to research schools in the area-just a heads up as you might find that useful.

I'm not particularly local so will just have to take the plunge and book a lesson!

It's super sad. I'm gutted. If you can get down to Huntley before it closes then cram a few lessons in there!

I just remember Huntley from doing my Stage 1 there a very long time ago!

Bristol Uni use Summerhouse for their lesson groups, including fairly advanced riders. Large numbers of horses and good instructors. But not all school masters.
