Has anyone taken a grazing muzzle to a cobbler

Try a Saddler if you have one near you, we have the tools to do it
Unfortunately I wouldn’t have the first clue where my nearest saddler is, as I’ve never had a horse in the UK, and I do know that my cobbler (traditional type, mends shoes, not just glues new heels on) is within walking distance ;)

No but I got my OH to rivet an aluminium plate onto one to do it.

Did you not find the rivets abrasive on the interior surface? I was thinking about a leather patch, rather than anything more rigid, but aluminium would be more hard wearing.

No they're really smooth on the top side, so he put those inside and well out to the edge of a large plate, so they didn't even touch her.we
