Has Anyone Tried These Rubber Mats?

Ahhhh,,,, Def NOT stable mats!!! No way, not ever! I have them down in an office. Anything human related but NO WAY under hooves. I can def say they would not last 5 mins - well ok maybe 5 but not much more than that!

They are not rubber, kinda a high density foam...

They are great for putting down on concrete floors etc that you want a little insulation, but def not in stables or any thing that would have hooves. Sorry... :(

You don't have to apologise! Just looking as they were slightly cheaper but I wasn't convinced. I had a look at their feedback on Ebay and there was a few positive reports and then one that said their horse had trashed them so they are definately a no go, thanks.

mats made from eva are unsuitable for using in stables, especially with shod horses. I went down the same route, trying to save money and looking at other options but the reality is you'll end up spending more replacing them. Better off spending the extra cash and having heavy duty mats, even if you have to compromise and only put mats where the bed is.
Try looking for second-hand mats and put the word out; I was fortunate in that one of the livery owners sold her horse and as she knew i was looking for matting, she offered hers to mine at £75 for 4 mats (bargains!). Word of mouth is a fab thing!

My EVA mats that have been down for seven years with horse stabled on average between 10 and 18 hours a day are still in perfect condition.............. such a waste of money and won't last five minutes!

I found a great guy on ebay he always has loads of rubber matting i just done out 2 stables for £155 including delivery.
If you want the name of the company pm me, i postd about this a while ago as i was so pleased with the mats and they are very cheap and a few other people on here also brought from him and were as please with the mats as i was

I have 2 sorts of EVA mats, used in temporary stableing with earth floors. The thinner set I have had for 2 years with no problems. The thicker branded Easimats were bought second hand and had been used for about week and show obvious signs of wear, the horse was a big one and had shoes on.
So I suppose it depends on what you need to use them for. I have also thick rubber ones but they a re bl**dy heavy.
