i did look at their site not too long ago, didnt buy one as i havent heard much about them so would prefer to get some info from someone who has already invested in one before i buy!
Yes, have one and use it mainly for the donkeys (fill it full of barley straw). Its not magic and works just fine. The donkeys pull lots of the straw onto the ground so they can sleep/pee on it so when they move fields have to clear that up - but thats just donkeys and it does save me huge amounts of work during the winter.
Would use it for the horses, but if they had ad-lib hay they would all be like barrels.
I have the large one, and have put an old bin in the middle as the donks can't reach that far.
All in all, they seems to be study and does the job of keeping the hay dry so you can put as much out as you like.
I've got the large one and it is excellent. Protects the hay and the field, saves an awful lot of wastage from horse poo and rain. Have already started using it this year, there has been so little rain out paddock is almost bare already.
i was going to get one and then realised i'd need two maybe three for our eventual 3-4 herd. One of my mares is very dominant and although not a 'foody' type she will guard things for the sake of guarding them and i bet if i got one none of the others would see any hay!!!! the cheaper one i've googled also is an idea, could then get 3 of them. Very good idea
I havent got one yet but fully intend to do so. I know the lady who owns the company and have seen them at work in her fields. They are very easy to use, you can roll the larger ones like a tyre so as not to damage your paddock.

I'd have the same problem, my two will not share a feeder.
Where's the cheaper one, or do you mean the small Hay Hutch?
