just wondering if anyone has used green lipid mussel and how it worked have heard it mentioned but would like a bit more info on it how it works, effectiveness, such like

My friend used to use them on her arthritic mare with great results. If memory serves me right they help to reduce inflammation. They weren't horsey ones but the guy who owned the company was very helpful about dosage etc. She used to get 7 tablets a day and they fitted snugly inside a polo mint!

Sorry, I just have to say that

They make a wonderful starter with tomato sauce and mozarella

Its the active ingredient in pernamax - I have used pernamax at the maximum dose and it did nothing for my horses. I have heard people have had similar results just using green lipped mussel tablets from Holland & Barratts.

I feed human green lipped mussel to my horse as she has serious cartledge trauma and surgery.

I feed 2000mg a day ( 4 tablets - 2 in each feed ) as well as NJS.

I havent fed them throughtthe winter as her leg is ok but in the warmer weather if i run out within a few day the leg infuses and goes back down about 4 days after being back on them.

Ill have to start them again now im im doing much more with my horse.

They really help with inflammation in joint.

They are also being used in clinical trials for horses as my vet spoke to my horses surgeon and they are proving to be sucsessful so far.

I was just wondering as my horse has had steriod injection into her coffin joint because of inflamation, and was looking for an alternative to having to keep injecting she is sound at the mo but if I could find an alternative I would rather use that, but didnt know much about it hope that all makes sense

Its great for reducing inflamation in joints. My horse has it for her fetlock.

Try it for a few months and see how you go and if no joy then youve not wasted much money.
