As title. I am seriously looking into getting a horsebox with the amount of travelling I will be doing this year to shows and I really don't fancy towing for hours on end. I'm not the biggest fan of towing, I do it just because I have to. I am also concerned about my cars mileage and that I will kill it towing hundreds of miles with it! I am looking at 3.5t due to the restrictions on my licence but I don't have 10k sitting spare so I am looking into finance. Has anyone had any dealings with this company? They seem to be the main company for providing finance for equine products.

Specialist finance packages always seem to have lots of extra fees and charges attached which effectively bump up the APR dramatically, and it can get complicated if you want to sell the vehicle within the repayment time.

Why not just take out a normal personal loan? You'll probably get a better APR and it's much more straightforward.

It's worth a quick check on one of the comparison sites - I did see a Tesco loan at 5.2% APR not long ago, so there might be some good deals out there!

I applied for telcos some time ago when I was originally getting a box at an apr of 5.7 and was accepted. They then sent me an agreement with what they called a personalised apr double the original ;) sneaky!
