Has anyone used Saddles Direct.co.uk

just bought saddle off them. they seemed really nice. the saddle was a bit bashed as they just had it in. rang up to argue price and they knocked £100 off so speak out if the saddle is marked. they arrived really quickly and we tried for 4 days before picking one. they picked up the others from my dads work. they were really nice and we had our saddler out when they arrived to check they would fit which is probably the best way of doing it.
 
So how much did it actually end up costing you to try them then? Were they well packed etc - am paranoid about something going wrong in transit and then being blamed for it! How did you pay for the saddle you bought - do they take cards or do you need to send a cheque?
 
£15 to get them delivered as got 3, £25 quid for 6. looked on website, picked the saddles, rang them up to check they had the ones i wanted as some were on trial elsewhere. as it was a bank holiday we got them on thurs evening so we rang and said we needed them for longer than 3 days and they were happy with that so got saddler out, £25, to check they fitted before riding in them . one of the saddles was soo gorgeous and brand new but didn't sit right on my boy as we needed a really deep seat. they came stuffed into a carboard box with no padding which freaked me out but they are with a courier service so check them before you sign. sent the others back and paid over the phone with card. cost £15 to send the others back, bit of a pain but as they knocked the money off the saddle, Kieffer dressage saddle, i was a very happy bunny
 
I just bought a saddle from them last week, it arrived the next day in perfect condition, (in fact it was the most well maintained saddle i've seen, soft and supple) and their after sales care was excellant too, thouroughly recommend!
