Yes i used it for 6 months on my tb who had 3 sarcoids of different types. One had bee ntreated with Liverpool cream (80% success), one (on her eyelid) treated with retinol cream (90% success but coming back) and the other left alone as it was small and not in an awkward place.
All resolved completely with sarcex although there is still some scarring where the Liverpool cream was used.
Yes - I used it for a period of over 4 months on my 18 yr old TB/Native X mare. her sarcoids are very well advanced and up until now, the vet has only intervened when they have 'blown' or become 'anguished'. The interventions have been with Liverpool cream, banding them with a tight rubber band, or removing them surgically plus injecting them with something which I now cannot recall what that was. I am afraid that the sarcex had absolutely no effect whatsoever but this could be put down to the fact that they are very well advanced. I would not use it again as it was very expensive but during my own investigations before using it, there was a lot of very positive comments about its use - mostly when the sarcoids were caught early or were small. I will wish you luck.
I used Sarc-Ex for about 9 months and a cluster of sarcoids disappeared. Whether it was coinidence of not it's impossible to know, but if they ever return I will definitely try it again.
I remember reading that the spring is the best time to use it as this is when sarcoids are most active.
Yes, and had no effect whatsoever - they continued to grow. Used it for about 6 months. Vet did 2 separate rounds of Liverpool cream and they never came back after that.
Vet advised to take horse off it when he used the Liverpool cream due to the toxicity of the cream.
To be honest, I was desparate and rung the companies helpline in desparation. They gave me completely false hope and said that it would definately help and I had to get that along with Ecanacia and would start to see a difference in 1-3 months.
I would never use their products again due to their advice line giving such false hope.
I would get your vet down as their are loads of different treatments they can do now, but the earlier you treat them properly, the more chance of success.
Just bought this for our old TB who has some very large horrid sarcoids, that the vet doesn't seem concerned at all about - seems like I may as well have fed him the money!
I may well try the crest, nothing ventured, nothing gained - as long as it does no harm, it could do good
