has anyone used the Fantastic Elastic reins for training?

Just wondered if they had been beneficial to those with slightly fussy horses?

Yes, I use them on one of my horses with good results. Much quieter head carriage now. I like them.

Check out Free Sprit Saddlery. I'm sure they were in a newsletter I had from them recently. Not seen the 'real version' so don't know how they compare, but worth a look if you're interested.

Sorry just looked for them myself and struggled to find them- If you search for flexi elastic reins they'll come up!

i found they were good for a while but then i found i had to make bigger aids with them being elastic, so she wasnt responding immediatly,

I really like them. I have some copy ones that I have been using on my older fussy mouthed horse and they have really helped him. He now works into a lovely consistent contact whereas before he could be quite jerky with his head and reluctant to take the rein. SO I am pleased with them.

I got the inserts before spending £80 on those. Riotenterprises on ebay £12 ish for 2, liking them so far
