I haven't used that exactly, but I have used the solo rake, which looks like it is similar. I have just used it to thin a massive thick unmanageable mane, and it works excellently, and does give a pulled look. Brilliant for a pony who will not tolerate any pulling whatsoever - get grumpy as soon as you start combing at all, but he let me use the solo rake!!

I need to pull Foxys tail but considering his reaction to everything I want to be able to do it as quick and easy as possible

Might get a solo rake they are about £10 cheaper, only going to use it once as well

I've used a similar one from my local tack shop, looked the same other than had a wooden handle and similar price, was great for my last horse who hated having his tail pulled they are very quick and easy to use. It doesn't give as good a result as proper hand pulling but saved me getting booted!

I got this one - 16Short blade. - 9pounds is cheaper than 22

Does my tail a TREAT!!! - Had it 2 years regular use, still sharp and going strong!

(Mare even leans into it for a scratch!)
