Has anyone used this Fly Product?

On the hunt for some more fly/midge sprays repellants etc for my sweet itch inflicted Cob.

And stumbled across this spray that Ivee not used before, has anyone here used it for their horses? I'm always on the look out for decent non greasy fly repellant at a reasonable price (as i get through soo much!)

Product in question is ''' Repel 100 Deet Insect Repellent - 120ml '''

Have you read the reviews about the product?

I'd be wary of spraying this onto my horse to be honest

Yes there are comments about 'melting plastic' 'can sting'..which i guess undiluted is out of the question.

i done a little more digging.. and its made purely of100% pure deet..so prehaps a good diluted base for my own fly spray!

My NAF off deet spray has literally 3% deet in the ingredients list.

There is So much on the market these days, its so easy to get in a muddle!

Yeah its a bargain when you think about it! Should last a fair while..no idea when concentrations of it im going to use and with what? any ideas Gingers?

I just use neat citronella oil and watch to make sure they don't burn. Doesn't wash off as easily

Find deet to aggressive on her skin and makes the sores worse but she isn't a straight forward si pony

I'm wary of deet as my highland has reactions to it so I'd be very wary of using it, even when diluted.
