Has anyone used/use rambo fly rug/mask with vamoose?

Hiya, I am looking for a good fly mask/rug for my horse.
She does not have sweetitch, but is mostly irritated by flys between her back legs, under her tummy and along her mane(she gets itchy if they are constantly biting her-but never scratches to the point her hair comes out, just gets very itchy)
I have tried sprays/creams all last summer, which helped but do not last very long.
I have looked at a few fly rugs but they only protect the top half of the horse, not the bottom where she is irratated! She currently has a fly rug with a belly strap/material but is still being bothered.
Can anyone recommend a good fly rug? Or shall I be looking at sweet itch rugs as these cover most of the horse?
I have seen the rambo rugs with 'vamoose' which for the fly mask look good, but not sure if they actually work!
Any information or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hello, I've just bought one this year for my old mare, as our flies get pretty bad, I can't comment yet as the nflies aren't bad yet, but it fits nicely and is good quality. However, I just wanted to note that Permethrin, the active ingredient in Vamoose, is what they use for expensive hiking equipment and stuff for when you go abroad and it's the best thing you can buy for anti mosquitoes etc - if it's good enough for reducing your chances of getting malaria it is probably also good enough to stop biting insects here!! I'll be surprised if it doesn't work.

I have two. One bought about 4 years ago and one bought last year as a replacement to the other horseware one without the belly.

The one bought last year is considerably thiner material - very lightweight compared to the older one and the other one - think that one is a buzz off?

Nice fit, decent depth for larger horses and no rubs.

As for the vamoose not entirely sure that this is of any consequence to be honest. I spray both my rugs with fly spray before they go on and I wouldn't be comfortable not doing this as there certainly have been flies around and on the rugs (i have terrible horse flies in the summer here)

The older one has not had the 25 washes yet either!

All in all nice rug and would be my preference over any other make - but I think the chemical is neither here nor there.

Personally I would try and get one second hand that is in the older material if you can find one in good nick and spray every day with that phaser stuff
