Lots of you have asked me for pictures of Archie recently (which is nice, thank you!) So the lovely Ginn came along and watched on the weekend when i was competing and took some piccies. Hes really changed and matured so much recently, people keep telling me he looks like a stallion

(He flirts like one too

)

Anyways, this first picture was taken 10months ago at one of his first BD comps. 10months on hes competing at Medium, working towards Adv Medium and will be doing his first Premier League at Hartpury on 20th June (providing everything goes well between now and then).

And these are from the weekend, sorry they are a bit blurry, someone had changed the settings on Ginn's camera and she didnt realise!

Do you know I don't think I've seen a 'before' pic of him ever! How utterly random!! Seen loose jump vids, which shocked me as I did not realise he was grey, but these are the first ridden ones I've seen. Very odd, I've clearly been in a cave!

He looks lovely - what test were you doing and how did you get on?

He looks so much stronger and is in a much better uphill balance and self carriage. He is growing up and looks like a mature horse, and is a lot stronger over his hind quarters. Well done you, I know it's not been plain sailing but he's a credit to you!

Novice and Elementary - i can safely say im not doing a novice again!!!! Had a bit of pilot error and i confused him halfway through the canter as he spooked, then he started doing changes, i got flustered, then we started halfpass across the arena as i used too much leg to change him back

However got 68% and 3rd overall. Elementary was fab, but i only got 64.59% which i was p*ssed off with, he did a super test totally perfect. Yet the previous week he did an awful elementary and i got 68% - dressage juding is so random!!!!

Im at Hartpury tomorrow doing an elementary and medium, so hopefully that will suit him better than the novice last week

Poor boy, i think he wondered what on earth it was, Andrew's stallion was upsetting him aswell that day!
