Has your horse life ever interfered with your love life?

Yes... I bought my boy 10 months into a relationship, so bloke went from top of the list to below my fat, hairy pony. He didn't like it in the slightest. It's one of those, though, it's a passion that he can either like or lump. Try and make me pick, mate - I dare you!
 
Yes. I was sick of having no hobby and waiting for OH to come in from his very social life, so got in to horses, it kind of took over my life like it does and he then felt very left out, was not interested in showing any interest in it and 7.5 years of our relationship came to an end.
 
My OH is non-horsey and didnt really want to help much with my big fellas as he found them a bit scary (not that he will admit it)
However since buying baby TB he will quite happily help muck out, hay, water, get her in and take her for walks on the rope - even races me to the field because he wants to lead her in! He wants to ride her too when shes broken - said he wants to ride but Jez is just a liiiiiiiittle bit wild for him... ok I mean a lot too wild for him :p
Lucky for me he understands horses are there and need sorting, feeding and shedloads of money! Lucky for him he only sees me at weekends lol :o
 
This thread has made me laugh out loud - which is great considering that I have a stinking cold!

My ex was really jealous of the horses - to the point that he would nag me not to check them! Better off without him =D
