Mine are only just starting really. Its coming out and covering me in fluff but they don't look any different for it just yet. I'm really willing the one in particular to just get on with it! My friend giving him physio thinks that taping him may be beneficial but it wont stick at the moment as he's too hairy!

My yak-like field-kept Exmoor ponies are starting to moult, but have months to go! I can only properly groom when they are dry - which has been once every fortnight :rolleyes:

Mine have only just started really. But all have long yak like coats so the field will be a brown carpet for a few weeks I think.

# don't wear fleece or lip balm for a while around horses!

coat has completely come out, we had a couple of days of beautiful shiny yellow dun them it all stopped. He has decided to grow another coat:D:D

does he know something about the weather we don't, does he think it is really Autumn? :eek:

Mine are moulting like mad. Am sitting here covered in long white hairs from one of them. Shame as today its been snowing all day and 1 degree so we have a covering! Crazy we were in tshirts on easter sunday and now this. Its meant to be back up to 14 and sunny tomorrow! Poor horses have no idea what season it is.
