Hat advice please for showjumping

Hi I am looking to purchase a new hat for showjumping and would like some advice on which would be a good purchase, with the new hat rules due I'm not sure what to buy. Many thanks :-)
 
You just need anything marked with PAS, SNELL or ASTM. (The numbers after it don't matter.) They can be marked (BS)EN as well - but not alone. There are some SJ hats from very well known manufacturers that - whilst perfectly safe - are marked (BS)EN only and are often being sold cheap. If you buy from a shop they will know the new standards. If you buy online just be sure the hat has the newer standards. Style wise it is entirely up to you! Pretty much anything goes in showjumping. But if you are planning to compete PC or RC it would be better to opt for the less blingy designs.
 
PAS 1998 is still acceptable in all disciplines going forward. But I accept there are not a lot of those still for sale as new.
