Hat Cam

I’m looking at getting a new hat cam after a bad experience. The last one I bought never worked properly and the company (Cam Equestrian) wasn’t interested
I kind the look of this one. Has anyone bought and used this ?

HOW MUCH !!

I buy £30 bullet cameras from eBay and throw them away when they fail. I've got one three years old going strong and had to replace one after two years when the charge plug socket failed.. And one would not cycle over the old recordings and I junked it because I couldn't be bothered to fight for a refund.

A guy tried to face me down in a narrow road the day before yesterday, then I saw him clock the camera and slow down and pull over.

They're so cheap I wear one back one front.

At that price you would be better of with a Go Pro.

We used Muvi cameras - for the same reason. Cheap. Effective. Not the best environmental solution as they get chucked when they fail. But our have always lasted years.

I was tempted because it is so wonderfully tiny. I have a CrossTour (GoPro knockoff) but it's huge compared to that. If I hacked more, I'd probably go for the teeny-tiny one, just because of safety if/when I fall off.

Edit: Although actually, looking at the side-on view, it isn't as small as I thought. Perhaps I'll just stick with my clunky big thing after all.

I like the slimline look
I bought a barrel one for about £70 from Cam Equestrian and it’s never worked properly so I want to make sure I’ve got something that actually works
