Looking for recommendations please, my Microcam has just given up after 10 years and I need to replace it, predominantly used for hacking as I do a lot of roadwork. I have looked into the Cambox ones, love the idea but not the reviews. Would prefer as discreet as possible front facing if possible, thank you

I have a Techalogic DC2 Pro and use it whenever I'm riding on the roads. Brilliant bit of kit as it records front and rear views and you can download footage to either your phone or iPad through an app. It also records voices/sounds if you want (but you can turn that off if you don't want to be reminded of hacking chats with your friends!!); the video footage is good enough to be able to capture stills from it if needed. It's hat mounted and very light so you don't know it's there. I wear a hi-viz tabard with a clear "Camera in Use" message and it does seem to have the desired effect a lot (but, sadly, not all!) the time. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been pondering a camera for hacking, too. I’ve seen suggestions that it’s not safe to mount on your hat and it’s best to use a chest strap. Anybody got any studies or knowledge about this?
