Hi just wanted some help, my bro got me a riding hat 4my bday a while back , i quickly tried it on but havnt used it since and it seemed fine (same size as my last) however Ive come to start wearing it and its too big- anyway was wondering if u can pad them out a bit with that padding they used in bicking helmets or do they actualy do riding hat padding-(its not massivly big). Cant take it back to shop even for exchange as its been too long and have no reciept. thanks for any help x:)

prob not what you want to hear, but if it is too big then it isn't as safe as a well fitting one. Would chalk it up to a lesson learnt and go and get a hat that fits. Expensive option, but last time I looked you couldn't buy a new head. Just isn't worth the risk tbh.

Do you mean it's now bedded in and ever so slightly annoyingly tiny bit loose in one place, as opposed to rattling around on your head? If you go back to the shop they should have some pads specifically for this, ours does and they will add them where needed.

thanks for your help :) , i think will go back to shop and see if they think itl be ok with padding or is too big completely if it is will sell it on ebay or something. Bad timing to buy a new one as its MOT and insurance month grrrrr but true cant replace your head so defo worth it lol x
