Re my post in Stable Yard a few weeks back http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/sh...rue#Post5237866
After much confusion re what to feed and then her disliking most of what I gave her we eventually settled on simple system blue grass nuts Alfa A oil a linseed supplement garlic and a splash of molasses. She now gobbles it down. She also gets good quality adlib hay and a large net of hylage everynight.

So hows she looking and is there any improvement?

My loan mare was worse than that when she came to the yard. When I took her on I switched her to Equilibrium Condition, calm and condition and alfa A oil. Initially I fed her 3 times a day.

Yes! Looking much less ribby and more sparkle in her (lovely) eyes. It took me ages to find the right feed combination but I think once you get it right, horses respond quite quickly like yours has. Good work there.

Cheers guys. Glad you all think she's looking better. I thought she had improved but you know what its like when you see them everyday!!
She is just a grass machine.....she loves it and trys to drag me to any patch that looks tasty!! I am sure when the spring grass comes through she'll improve even more.
