Hat silks...what style/colour?

I have a new HS1 that i wear for SJ and xc and everyday. I have a proper XC hat silk in my colours,...but really need one for Sj and every day. On my J3 i just used thst silk that came with it.
I don't know whether to go for a navy velvet or a proper silk.

it would be to wear with both a tweed (shown) and a navy jacket.

So really should i get a navy velvet cover or silk?
Also has anyone got photos of them wearing a navy silk or velvet with their tweed?

I havent got a pic but but I have just done the same. I bought a navy lycra on for everyday and SJ that goes with my tweed jacket nicely but it does have a habit of slipping off so I wish Id bought another proper satin one as they fit on better I look on ebay to see if i can get one daily as last time it came off during my dressage test my horse spooked at it!

I'd go for a navy velvet one. they look smart. No pics sorry - mine has gone a fadded grey colour now but it is 13 yrs old!

Old Dairy Saddlery does the best velvet silks - they are the ones with the proper pimple. They look really smart and are really great quality.

The photo looks a bit naff but they are much better than all the others I have had.

i was originally going to go for a silk but think a velvet one could possible be as nice if not better

Def navy velvet with that colour jacket - will make it look as near poss the same as your dressage hat but be nice and safe for your jumping. Can't find any pics of mine with my jacket on on my pc sorry
