Best hatcam for hacking? Need a decent battery life as we do up to 3 hours..

I have a Xiaomi Yi action camera - the first version.

the battery itself is pretty crappy but I got a pack with a bigger battery and bigger waterproof case that holds the bigger battery and also has a little LCD on it.

The camera itself has wifi and can connect to your phone through an app, so you can see what it sees and start and stop it. I tend to turn the wifi off once I have it set up as it chews battery.

only issue is that the straps and waterproof cases are extra - but very cheap on ebay too

am following this with interest: after a DPD twat of a driver followed myself and friend out hacking very close behind and revving his engine, that's done it, I'm gonna get myself a "hat-cam"......... enough is enough!

Im interested in this as would love one but not being very tech savy im a bit baffled by them. Would like a bullet type i think but not expensive. I know there are some cheap ones on ebay but just dont know what to go for.
