HAuctions - anyone used it yet?

HAuctions is like an Ebay for horses that has just been launched! I like the idea as it MAY stop some of the timewasters if you are selling a horse as it seems to be for registered serious buyers. There are auctions and "buy it now" so it seems pretty painless and protects the seller and buyer. No, I am not connected in ANY way - just wondered if anyone else would consider using it? I think it will be one of those sites (a bit like Ebay) that grows and grows...

I wouldnt consider it. Its hard enough buying a horse you can view and try but to buy one without seeing it, not for me Im afraid.

You can view and try the horses still. I just like the idea that if you are selling you shouldnt in theory get timewasters. I think normally the payment doesnt go through until after the horse is vetted and/or on leaving the yard. Also if you are selling special breed youngsters you can advertise to people abroad also if you wish. I think there is a "feedback" section so bad buyers/sellers can be reported and disputes sorted just like Ebay!
