as is only at a local show, what would the dress code be for this class, i.e show jacket colour, would you have to wear tweed or would you be able to wear black or navy show jacket,
Tweed tweed tweed!!!!
Shirt and tie, velvet riding hat, brown gloves, long black boots, buff/beige breeches, brown riding crop (i dont use a show cane).
Horse wears plain tack (no fancy browband or noseband) but flash, stronger bits, martingales and breastplates are allowed.
Boots for jumping phase only, they have to removed for the flat phase, though you are not allowed to change any other tack.
Plain numnah or no numnah under saddle.
Hope that helps
If it's a local friendly show you can compete in a black/blue show jacket.. can't argue that tweed is *correct* but for a local show, and first time competing in that class... I really wouldn't be rushing out to specifically purchase a tweed jacket.
