I took Harry Show jumping on sunday and i have not been show jumping in over ten years so was very nervous and so scared and guess what i got a clear round and we came second in 2ft and 3rd in 2ft 3" i was so shocked it has took me till now to come down from the celing. Has anyone else made a come back after such a long break. sorry if its a bit self indulgent.

Oh well done! I had a very similar experience last year when the lovely lady I had a share arrangement with took me and her adorable wee 14.1 NF pony to a local show - my first in 12 years or so. I expect I looked very silly amongst the young PCers (especially as all my kit was begged, borrowed and mis-matching - lol), but I had the most fun I had had in ages and we - unbelievably! - came second in the 2'3" (nothing to do with me - the pony was a star). It's so lovely being reminded of how fun it is, isn't it?

Well done, I went showing for the first time in over twenty years last summer and also felt like a teenager again! We bought a lorry this year and hope to do some more shows this year.
