is this the yearling that you posted about recently, rescue or something similar?? You were after names? or am i getting confused, a dark bay, with white socks from memory??? If so well done, thought he looked a good stamp, are you able to get him registed or is he already??!!

Yeahh that is my yearling bay with white socks and a star (through my freinds rescue as the lady is seriously ill and is giving up, i couldn't remember the names of his sire and so fourth..... but got them ^ :D and thank you, he is going to be a little cracker hopefully!!

He isn't registered yet i will be registering him when i buy him. :)

Sorry but by law the present owner (is she the breeder?) should have him registered with a passport before he should be sold to you.
If you're using professional transport to collect him they won't accept him without a passport either. Be very careful, sorry to rain on your parade.

Yeah he is going to be micro chipped when he is at home, but registered/passported within the next two weeks, But if they ask for him to be microchipped when they passport him i will be getting him microchipped then, however i really wanted to handle him and get him micro-chipped when he is gelded so he will be heavily sedated when they do it.

as of july 2009 he will need to be microchipped in order to be passported. And you cannot travel a horse or sell one without a passport, hope you manage to get it all sorted. Would be nice if you can get his breeding recorded, but as he's no longer with his dam, dna tests may have to come into play to get this.

Ahhh okay, i wasn't aware of that! i will contact the breeder and see what she says, i know she said he has to be passported and registered before he is sold,
