I have had a clearout today and have put a load of stuff on ebay, including a medium width 17" Stubben jump saddle and a fair few different bits - 5 and a half inch Waterfords and a 6" gag etc etc......

I hope they find new homes!

Anyone had any success with ebay?

Sold a saddle on there just last week! Didn't get what I paid for it - bought it second hand. But at least it's no longer cluttering up my study.

Edited to say - you just prompted me to go and look and see if I have got any feedback - only to find that I have a negative feedback on the saddle saying it is much smaller than we said. We measured it accurately and explained that it was narrow. Oh well - it looks like it might be cluttering up the study again! I spent £30 plus on post and packaging as well. So maybe not such a good idea!

Crikey - if they've already given you negative feedback don't take the saddle back! If they'd contacted you politely and said "can we return it" then to avoid a neg maybe yes, but if they've already negged you without contact then tell them to keep the saddle (and shove it where the sun don't shine).

And to OP - I've sold stuff on eBay and got a good sum, and bought surprisingly cheaply. IMHO it's partly down to the quality of the ad and decent pics.

I've just sold some stuff as well and got what I expected to get - quite pleased.

Going to put some Ariat giaters on today and see what happens.

Maybe we could do with a decent "stuff for sale" room/thread on here???
Cheaper than ebay fees, and like minded peeps are likely to buy quicker with less hassle.

Easy and simple to still use paypal etc!!

I certainly wouldn't take the saddle back if they've left negative feedback - caveat emptor (sp?) and all that....
