Even in my own machine I have a "special" quilt cover reserved for hairy horse stuff!!

I suspect very dirty rugs also wouldn't do the machines any good if they are full of mud/sand. The thought has struck me as we have a launderette nearby, but same, people use them for holiday let cleans and their clothes. It just wouldn't be fair here.
