Have I just had the rudest riding instructor on the planet?

She may have european qualfications but is she a qualified instructor as I take it
you are at a BHS approved centre. Make a complaint. Just cause she can ride well big deal.

We had some Germans over to visit our company and they said they never have women working in IT. They were very shocked to see many women in our department. (How very dare they work in IT)
 
I decided to take some lessons at a local (very good) riding school. I asked NOT to be given a cob as I had had major hip surgery & couldn't ride something that shape (own & ride arabs). Second lesson I get a fat, lazy young cob, wide as a brick dunny. After 5 mins I say sorry, but this horse is causing me pain, I expressly said no cobs. I was told there wasn't another horse available as they had done their hours, which was fair enough, I respect the fact they don't overuse their horses. I put the cob away & left without paying. Rang back to discuss if I could book a lesson not on a cob to be told I was too fat to ride another horse (I'm 5'2" & ride arabs in endurance). Never been back. Shame was instructor was very good.
