for your horses how many rugs do you have, and what are they (heavy, middle weight etc) just wandering.

for my boy i have
1 light weight
1 medium weight
2 heavy weights
1 fleece
1 cooler rug thing
and an old rug that is no longer waterproof with sheeps skin underneith which i use for under rug if needs be
 
2 x heavy weight
1 x medium weight
1 x lightweight
1 x fly rug
1 x heavy weight stable rug
1 x meduim weight stable rug
2 x stable under rug
1 x travel rug
1 x fleece


think thats the lot!
 
same as ludo!! too many.

Each horse has 1 lightweight turnout, 1 exercise sheet, 1 fleece. Then I can not even remember how many medium / heavy weight turnouts. Too many to count and some have not seen a horse for years but are neatly packed away after being cleaned and reproofed a few years back.
 
4. one in the lounge, 1 in kid's bedroom and 2 in mine :)






ok, that was silly.

1 heavy weight combo t/o, rarely worn
1 medium weight t/o with seperate neck
1 40g weight t/o, worn most of this winter
1 no fill t/o, been wearing the last couple of weeks
1 fleece cooler
1 waterproof exercise sheet.
 
Too many! :D

Off the top of my head, between two horses I think I roughly have....

19x turnouts in different weights
6x different weight stable rugs (they mostly live out so I don't use these very often)
6x different fleeces/ coolers
2x flysheets

On reflection, I don't think that's too bad for two horses. I try to keep them unrugged as often as I can :D

I have 1 medium weight turnout
1 light weight turnout
A medium stable rug
1 Cooler
And a fleece!
 
The oldie (37yrs) has loads - I think this is the list

two heavyweight combos
one heavyweight with detachable neck
one mediumweight with no neck
two lightweights with no neck
one heavyweight combo stable
one heavyweight stable with no neck
one mediumweight stable with no neck
about two combo under rugs
about two or three fleeces
one combo fly rug

The shire x has four in total, one mediumweight turnout, two lightweight turnouts and one lightweight stable rug. He is naked however 95% of time xx
 
too many considering I only have one horse :p
I've got:

2 light turnouts
1 medium stable rug
1 light stable rug
2 fleeces
1 exercise sheet
2 summer sheets (£5 from lidl :D)
1 fly sheet

still trying to find a fleece with a neck and a medium stable rug with a neck that doesn't cost a fortune.
is it wrong that I find rug shopping enjoyable?

3 x medium weight (1 is falling apart, the other 1 was discount to replace the 1 falling apart and the other 1 is remains off a 13hh Fell pony which was sold and fits my 15hh Lusitano x very well with chest extenders (it is an emergency rug)
2 x Medium/light weight rugs (again 1 from the Fell pony)
1 x 400gram Stable Rug
1x Medium weight rug
1 x towelling "dressing gown cooler rug)
2 x cooler rugs

I think that is it at the last count - well I always have a spare!! :(
 
I have one horse and have

1x heavyweight turnout
3x medium t/o
3x light t/o

2x light stable
2x medium stable
2x heavy stable

3x fly sheets
2x fleece

18 in total as had a clearout and sold 4 not that I have a problem or anything.
 
I do have alot of rugs but... I have three horses and they have a LW, a MW and a HW turnout each plus a spare.... and the youngster has some (AKA alot :p ) rugs that she has grown out of in different sizes. I have a couple of stable rugs and a couple of fleeces too even though they are hardly ever stabled. :D
 
Between 10 horses?

Ummm, 6 x MW's, 3 x LW's, 2 x cotton sheets, 3 x polar tec foal/mini rugs in various sizes.

All live out, only 5 are rugged, they've had the same MW's on all winter.

Rugs are shared according to what fits who at the time, nothing has their own particular blanket.
 
Bella has:
2 x LW Turnout
MW Turnout
We are getting her a HW with neck turnout this week
Heavy Stable
Medium Stable
Fleece
Exercise Rug

Have about 5 headcollars and about 4 different numnahs too, she is one spoilt little mare :P

1 x fleece that's a bit too big that I sometimes use as an under rug

2 x middleweight turnouts
1 x middleweight turnout with a half neck
