As the title says very depressingly all my 3 have started, only very slightly but def started, and I now have to put the lights on in the mornings to muck out!!!

Ron is moulting, but I can't decide if he's loosing it or growing more... he often does this around now, then stops and starts again in late sept. we think he tries to get rid of some coat as he's too hot, or just cos he's a bit wierd!

Mine did a couple of weeks ago, so I clipped him. Can't have hairy winter coat coming through and still compete in summer :)

Mine started about a month ago as he has to prepare in plenty time for his winter hairy mammoth impersonation! He's really itchy with it as it's all shedding but we're just in that nice inbetween stage of clean fine-ish coat still before the layer of grease starts developing ready for all that rain and cold to come.

Once we're past the longest day (21 June) we have shorter daylength so that's the trigger for the change of coat to start I was always told.

Definite winter coats coming through on mine. That and seeing my first flight of geese this morning has got me worried! What do they know that I don't???

Yep mine all seem to be gaining the 'winter woolies' does this mean we are in for another cold snowy winter I wonder ?
Another thing, have noticed blackberries in July and the holly is coming out !
