Oh yes! Actually just gone half four now! ;)

Only another few weeks and I'll get to the yard in the evenings! :D

Actually, plenty of time for more snow ...

Soon, I'll be able to dash home from work (my marking/lesson planning can go shove itself till later in the evening!) get changed, jump in truck. dash to yard and RIDE in the school for a good 30 mins! YIPPEEEEEEE!

Yes, I had noticed actually. Was just back from the yard at that time and was peeling some veg for a roast dinner and I was thinking to myself, its staying lighter later, woo hoo. Now I just hope my horsey comes sound so I can enjoy it....

My OH's birthday is the 29th January and for me that always seems to mark the end of deep winter. It was a bright sunny day here today and the sky was pale lilac at 4.45. I cannot wait for the bright evenings when me and the kids can laze the day away at the yard!

Makes everything so much easier, when do the clocks change!!!!!!!!!!?

26th/27th March - 11 weeks yet but there is light at the end of the tunnel - literally!!!
I commented to the other half tonight that is was 4.32 and still light, so I noticed.
Still had to poo-pick by the light of the head torch tonight though :(
But on the plus side it is a beautiful night down here and I took full advantage of the fact my field is high up on the south downs (so therefore nearer the sky ;)) and the clear sky and the stars were amazing, along with the 'toenail' of a moon - I sat on an unused trough and listened to the horses munching haylage and the sound of airplanes and saw a shooting star (made my day).

Isn't it fab!! I was out with the dog til 4.45 and got very excited that it was still light!! Still have snow up here, it's not shifted since November, and had more over the weekend. Come on spring, I need you!!

WOOP WOOP!!!! I too have noticed this. spring is on it's way, soon I'll be able to hack after work and get the poo picking upto date again, mind you, it's being trampled into the mud at the mo, so I'm not exactly going to poke around looking for too much!!:D

Not here in Fife... but in saying that, even between here and my home slap-bang in the middle of N. Ireland I notice the difference in latitude. Am looking forward to morning and evening sunshine, and no snow though! Oh how I miss riding outdoors...

Yes, I cheered myself up on Monday by googling the sunrise and sunset times for the rest of the year. Roll on February...
