Yep, mine had her first bath yesterday, a really good deep down bath with a rubber curry comb to get the grotty bits out! Then she said thanks mum by having a lovely roll as soon as she was turned out again - she must feel more comfortable for a good wash and a roll I think!!
B last weekend and Sharer did The Shoe. B feels all lovely and soft!
Noticed how greasy and dirty L is yesterday when I was attacking her woth the shedding blade. May tackle her tomorrow, though I know she hates baths, she'll feel better after.
My horses had a bath on Tuesday, I forgot that Kelsi (skewbald) had a lot of white in her tail it was brown! Looks lovely now. We had a lesson yesterday and hosed them both off afterwards, it musbe warm as they didn't mind the cold water.
Yes, my little show girl had her first bath on Saturday for a show on sunday She wasn very happy to start with but she soon calmed down It was nice and warm and i used NAF redhead on her and Supreme products blue shampoo on her little white legs then wrapped her back up and gave her her tea, by which point she had totally forgotten about her nasty mummy making her clean lol
As its meant to be a nice weekend, I'm planning to do "first baths" with 2 of my 3 this weekend. One is grey and needs to be clean for BSJA next weekend so I figure I should wash him now in case its too cold next week to do it again! Other is my shetland who is utterly filthy - I gave her a hunter clip a month ago so I'll be able to do a really good bath. 3rd pony is far too fluffy still - I'll just end up with masses of hair in the brush!
