Have you ever been taught by someone famous??

Yes.

Pammy & Brian Hutton, Molly Sivewright, Gerry Sinnott ( he's on the inside back page of H&H today!), Adam Kemp and Dick Stillwell.

I've never won a lesson.

No lessons coming up, sadly.

I would like a lesson with Lucinda Green, I watched one of her XC lessons once and thought she was fab.

Sally Swift. She was a great friend of my RI and often stopped by the stable. When she was there, she'd give all the kids who worked there a lesson. They were always the best lessons.

Years later, after she'd written Centered Riding and was doing clinics, I got to ride in one of them when a space opened up. I learned so much in those two days!

She was a wonderful lady - she once judged for our 4H show and I still have a 4th place ribbon from a jumping class she judged in 1974.

depends on your definition of famous..

I've had training sessions with Carl Hester, Ferdi Eilberg, Stephen Clarke and Ian Woodhead... are any of those famous?

I had a lesson with Pat Burgess too a long time ago when I was a showjumper! Also had lessons with Ernest Dillon, John Smart and Cindy Llewellyn (mother of Emily) she was lovely and really inspired me. John Smart was so horrible I nearly walked out of the lesson!
I used to work for Bar Hammond Olympic dressage rider and world championship event rider, she was amazing but completely different to how I'd ever ridden before, it took me ages to learn to do dressage coming from a showjumping and hunting background but the hard work was worth it. While I was there I had a lesson with Bill Noble and on one wonderful day Emile Faurie came and watched me ride, didn't say very much though so I don't suppose that counts has having a lesson he was only there to see Bar! Apparently he said I was quite good :)

Have watched Charles de Kunffy teach and learnt so much just by watching him, a truly amazing horseman.

I had a lesson with Lucinda Green and everything was so easy it was Cross Country the safe way an Indoor lesson and it was magic!! She had my horse who was paranoid of anything strange literally popping a pretend ditch confidantly by just talking me through it she gets a 12 out of 10 with me every time!

Yes. Although many people won't remember her now, she still trains Lucinda Green.

Remember Pat Burgess anybody? Yes, she still teaches way into her 70s and I have organized a few clinics with her. :D She's great!

Me too! I love my gridwork sessions with Pat, and she's really helped to get my confidence back :)

I've had lessons with:
Spencer Wilton - he's great, very friendly, very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend and he runs clinics all over the country, see his website
Jane Bartle-Wilson - full of good ideas. Taylored Equestrian on here organises clinics with her
Isobel Wessels - very helpful and down to earth. Also does clinics in various places

And been judged by Jennie Loriston-Clarke, she did not smile at me at the last halt though, so clearly I did not impress!

Thanks for the replies guys. It great to see who people have been taught by :D

Lucinda Green does XC clinics up the road from me i should really book a lesson with her :D

Don't worry boogles i haven't had a lesson with anyone famous either :(

I would love a lesson with Oliver Townend as my friend knows how mad i am about him lol :p x

Blitz - Yep your people were famous :D
