Yes. My mare was sent to me to be schooled when she chucked her owner off. She failed the vet on the trot up for perspective buyers, due to a splint that had formed that morning! I made an offer which was accepted and bought her. I had ridden her for a year and she had never been sick or sorry so it wasnt too much of a risk.

I didnt bother even having my youngster vetted.
