Have you ever got something 'stuck' on your horse?

I got to the yard tonight and it started raining. Roo was wet but not soaked, so I lunged her in bridle roller and side reins.
The roller isn't mine, I borrowed it.
Lunged Roo and then went to untack and the buckle wouldn't shift at all! Eventually I took her to the guys in the gun shop. They know nothing about horses and were abit cautious of her, it took two of them pulling different parts to undo it, took about 10 minutes. I wouldn't have stood a chance on my own, will never use that roller again haha

Yesss.
One of the 7 polo ponies i'm in charge of has an old-fashioned Argentine girth strap, which is basically a long leather strap which is wrapped tightly, many times, between a metal loop on the saddle and a metal loop on the girth. I had fastened it very securely (i'm always scared it will undo mid match

) and couldn't undo it

poor pony, boiling hot from chukkas, had to wait for numpty here to scuttle off and find someone strong to undo it
