If so, which ones and what did you think?

I have recently started feeding my broodmare topspec super condidtioning flakes and I have to say they look delicious!

Anyway, this evening I succumbed and it was quite nice actually! Better than that Alpen stuff, anyway....

I got a taste of Hifi lite yesterday, but that was because I was crouched next to H while he was having his feed and he decided to give me a big kiss

Umm, I didn't care for it myself

Yes, well my friends horse really. Friend came back today with a sample of some new mix from Scats, I tried some and said it was very sweet (not good as her horse is sugar intolerant) and persuaded her to try some too. Actually it tasted quite like Alpen but without the raisins of course!

Have not eaten his feeds, but have always dabbed a finger in his supplements and garlics etc, just to taste rankness when introducing to feeds

NEVER try a horselix o___o It's disgusting! One day me and my friend decided to try all of the feeds... The horselix was the grossest... The Speedibeet was quite nice (a bit plain) and my fave was the Slow Release Mix...

Daughter tried the raspberry and vanilla lickit and the only way I could stop her from keep on eating it was to tell her that the rats had probably been weeing on it as they licked it!!!! Nor sure if that was true, but she did stop!!

I tried it too and it was lush!!

Yeah....tried sugar beet and pony nuts and the sweet tasting thingy that you get in mix

And a day never passes without having a bite of carrot and apple

Most nutritionists will tell you that there is little or no difference between pelleted & flaked feed. The main reason why the flaked feed is made is because we humans think it looks nicer & therefore better for our horses. The feed makers will continue to make the two types as long as we owners want to buy it.

As for it's taste....I don't eat my horses grass, hay, mix or pellets & my horse doesn't eat my steak, curry etc. Both of us think this is a good arrangement & see no reason to change it

But horse feed i have tried everything my horses have, as i think if i wont eat it, then the horses wont!! I think the horses will but its not gonna kill you!! lol!!

When I was younger often used to make a lovely warm bran mash up for me and my friend as we practically lived down the stables...sometimes with salt in it and sometimes with molasses...tried various additions.
In my defence...I was young...I was stupid...I was never at home...I was never in to cooking (and still not)!!!!!
