Have you ever won anything by entering magazine competitions?

Nope, never! I must be really unlucky too. My sister won a Likit once - I think she would rather have had something a bit more exciting though! :D
 
I won a comp in local rider just by filling out my name and address on a draw. The prize was a person coming out from a feed company to look at what I was feeding my horse, then to supply a years supply of that feed. 20 bags of veteran mix came in very handy!!!
 
I have entered about three competitions - and won two. First one was a saddle, the second was a complete set of competition clothes including £200 hat, leather made to measure boots etc.
I must have the luck of the devil. :p

I won 3 bottles of some organic horse shampoo in a magazine comp. It was an enter and we will pick what to give you type of competition. Shame I had no horse at the time, but the dog smelled nice!
 
Yep...over the years, 6 bags of Nedz Bed, 4 Bags of Spillers feed, a Bentley grooming kit and a body warmer.

However i don't use Nedz so i sold it to a friend on the yard, I sold the feed to a riding school, gave the grooming kit as a pressie and the body warmer didn't fit so went on Ebay!!!

My friend has won a horse trailer, a trekking holiday to America, £100 feed voucher, a electric horse massager and a lesson with William Fox Pit...obviously she's luckier than me!!!
 
This year I won a £90 bottle of Oxyshot. I don't use it so am still trying to sell it (anyone .....?). Last year I won a lovely Dublin jacket. They were both from magazines. I also won a £100 saddlery voucher in a raffle (purchased a fab pair of breeches, far more expensive than I would normally have), and a Bonner iced bandage. The best prize ever was when my mother entered a competition with Spillers in 1984 and won a trip for us both to go to Los Angeles for an all expenses paid trip to the Olympics to watch all of the equestrian disciplines. So keep entering, someone has to win!
 
I've won a pair of jods and a show shirt. My sister won a wardrobe of rambo clothing (i think it was rambo), my other sister won some ariat boots. I think they've won other stuff too but I forget.

Still waiting for something big like a saddle :D Or an all expenses paid trip overseas :D
 
Have won a bit over the years. In the past year I seem to have won more than usual - I won £300 worth of Tottie clothing and 6 varying supplements (seperate wins). In the past, I've won things like jodphurs, riding boots, hamper of Supreme Products, more supplements etc. I was also on a couple of testing panels (one was HorseMart magazine) so ended up getting a few freebies through that to test and keep - mainly DVD's and things but got an £80 pair of jods at one point which was nice! I do enter a lot of competitions though... Am currently trying to win a holiday as I really need one!
 
My mum won a Ssang Yong Rexton 4x4 for a year from horsedeals magazine. And then it went back and that week she won £100 of Allen and Page feed vouchers. Very Lucky.
 
Yep! Speedi beet, tri=zone XC boots (full set), Nintendo DS and a game, tickets to hickstead and tickets to gatecomb.

I think I'm just a lucky person!
 
Won exactly the same thing two years on the trot!

A course walk round Blenheim with a professional rider - really wierd when I got it last year and this year too - both from Your Horse!
 
yes i have! i won a £1000 sponsorship money and £500 Tottie clothes and £500 masta rugs (all one prize!) it was from horse and rider mag- had to write a little bit about me and my horse and explain why i should win!

its the only thing i've ever won though! once my mum and dad filled out a questionnaire from trailfinders (the travel company) and won an around the world holiday flying business class all the way!
 
Not fair! I enter EVERYTHING!!!

Years ago I won a Traxdata baseball cap. It arrived just as we were about to leave and move into our new house.....even then my dad nicked it for playing golf in!
 
I won a book signed by Ian Stark at CountryWide, and i won an all expenses paid trip to Jamaica with Virgin Radio but I couldn't go as it was my brothers wedding, so my boyfriend went with his friend.
 
I won a years supply of Net-Tex Advanced fly repellent once in a magazine. Only thing ever though. I enter lots of competitions. Shilasdair and Tass, could you send me some luck please? :D
