Have you found your perfect horse?

Yup I think I have! He was exactly what I was looking for 10 odd years ago - to bad it took me 8 to find him ( and he was 8 when I got him - born EXACTLY the month I started looking for a horse all those years ago) So I recon it was fate! Plus when i 1st went to see him he hid behind a trailer as he didnt want tacked up and he looked so cute the way he just peeked his head round then hid again then peeked again - even though we could clearly see his legs down the bottom.
I found him as a lady in the office upstairs from where I was working was looking for someone to ride him.
We may not always get on or have clicked instantly but we have an understanding

, and I love him to bits!!

Yes!

I bred her! its taken me 6 years to realise that she actually is my perfect horse but we got there!

She hates being fussed over and just likes to get on and do stuff (just like me!)

I hope so! Only had new lad for a month and he is only 4 and just broken, but he has all the makings of my perfect horse now ive got to do my job and keep my fingers crossed!!!

My other horse has just the best personality and i love him to bits, it breaks my heart that he has not turned into my perfect horse

Yes I have had my perfect horse of a lifetime, she was the most unconventional polo pony standing at 16.1hh but the speed, stops and turns were to die for. You never had to think about where you where if you didn't have the ball she would take you to it. In the field she was always very talkative and would look after any horse which was a bit under the weather. She gave me my best moment when having her foal on my birthday so little Casper has got alot to live up to. Unfortunately I lost her on Sunday so she is now running free hopefully with a watchful eye over her offspring.

Absolutely! Bodey is definitely turning out to be my perfect horse, and who would have believed it, an unbacked, unhandled 3 year old, who is turning out to be a complete star (it’s the horse in my sig).
Bodey is very much the type of horse I love.

After selling my beloved Ella I didn’t think I could again find such a wonderful horse, but fingers crossed I have!

He wasn't what I orignially planned for, and he has really put me through the Wringer.... but I would say that My boys is everything I ever wanted in a horse but hadn't realised.

he has his quirks and really does let you know things, but on the other hand he will turn himself inside out for me and is willing to give something a try, even if he hasn't done it before.

My little mare on the other hand is totally the opposite, I was neither looking for or wanted another, but she has so much potential waiting to come out and will possibly go further than my boy.... she is definatly a book waiting to be written, but I really wouldn't not have her now

Yep 110%

I wasnt even going to go and look at him but OH persuaded me to go (he's regretting it now though

) he has built up my confidence millions, we do everything together and I have gained so much pleasure from bringing him on. I absolutely adore him. He is a real character and not everyones cup of tea but he is mine which is handy I guess!

One of mine is what I consider pretty much perfect. My others are "perfect" too in my eyes but competition wise which is what I do, then this horse in particular has turned out fab. I bought him as a very very green 5yo so he certainly wasnt bought perfect! But thats how I like it, I love bringing on young horses and would never buy a schoolmaster even if I had loads of money to do so!

My horse is near perfect, I mean you cant get 100% perfect. Like my boys legs arent great, he doesnt have brilliant confirmation, has windgalls / some scars etc. and he had always been cold backed (until last year!), he also has a fear of cows if hacking out alone wherapon he has bolted with me...... far from perfect but I just dont hack anymore so it doesnt bother me! Otherwise he is 110% genuine and honest, he tries so hard for me and has never argued. He has turned out better than I thought, considering when I bought him he was skin & bones, full of worms and deeply depressed.

Yes!!!

I have the horse I've always dreamed of. A stunning 3yo chestnut pure-bred Arab stallion, multi-champion in hand, just started stud duties and being backed - can't wait to ride him! I love his character - full of fire and life and energy, but very sweet and affectionate; and always happy and playful.

I spent months searching for the perfect Arab colt, and eventually found Tobago - he wasn't for sale, and it took a lot of begging and pleading to persuade his owners to let me buy him.

No compromises at all - This, for me, is the perfect horse (pic taken last year as a 2yo):
