Just finding out a bit about the breeding mof my new girl and she is by a stallion called Junola (Genola) who is by GREETON DU REZIDAL. He is believed to have belonged to a stud in Stafford called High Offley Stud???

Also, there is another stallion I am looking for info on, El Dimagio (for a friend).

Anything of any of these would be very much appreciated. It's so exciting hunting for history!

I know... I remember when you first said you were getting her, my eyes turned green with envy! Have you any recent photos of your girlie by the way?

No recent photos i'm afraid, she is a bit camera shy and all the ones taken have been rubbish.

Going to our first affiliated comp tomorrow though so i m hoping to get some then

Just been looking up on google and found this from the HOYS 2005

In the Young Riders Championship of GB, the AES Approved stallion Crown Rhodonite was placed with Emma Shaw. He is by Greeton Du Rezidal out of Crown Diamonte.

So sounds like she has very good bloodlines!!!

Couldn't find anything on the other stallion though

Thanks... I have just spoken to the stud I mentioned above, and the stallion did indeed used to be there. He is called Genola and is by Greeton du Rezidal out of a Grade A showjumper, and is Grade 1 KWPN mare! She did tell me her breeding but I got a bit lost... They have said I can go down and see Grace's Dad, but he had to be gelded at 4 years as he severed his tendons in one of his legs, so has become a pet and had fibres added to allow him to live a happy life.

It looks as though she might be worth more than I first thought

(that's if I can ever part with her!!)

OMG that sounds like she has excellent breeding!!!

Looks like you may have found yourself a bargin

Are you going up to see her dad or is it too far away??

Going to go and see him when I have time... He is about two hours away, but I would love to see whether he looks like her as I don't think she looks anything like her mum!

I am even more taken with her than I was before... How am I ever going to let this horse go when she snuggles up to me in the stable, comes over to me in the field, is an absolute sweetheart and is well bred too!
