just needs to warm up a little bit/ get rid of the icky wind/ rain etc and he's allowed to wander to his hearts content.
 
wooooooohooooo!!!! cant believe we have seen the back of evil winter! No more -7' visits to the yard on icy roads, changing hundreds of rugs, no more snow, hail, mud, hosing legs down in freezing cold water....yay!!!!!

Yes it is good but it has knocked my early mormning rides on the head for a few weeks though...will have to hack out in the evenings with all the idiots coming home from work in a rush!
 
it was introduced during the first world war i think in an attempt to get more farming done and also to save energy too...it had been suggested by a horserider originally in about 1907 but dismissed by parliament but then adopted in 1916 just after germany did the same...during WW2 GB experimented with DOUBLE British summer time (i.e. putting clocks forward by TWO hours
