Im with you on this one SN they couldnt have predicted that the mare was only 15.
Not sure what i would have done faced with that problem though.

oh dear that is tragic.... I doubt I would have sought medical advice in the first place and would have made up my own mind but they did seek medical advice and were advised that they would be fine to go ahead, I really think that is where the tradgedy lies.

the worst is how the kept her clinging on.mine would have been PTS at 9months when it was obvious she had no quality of life
