Have you seen our border collie?

Our border collie,Libby has been missing since Friday 19th Oct.last seen on our daily walk in Coryton woods,near Lewdown. There was a possible sighting of her yesterday in Okehampton,near Lidl .She is unused to traffic and shops and is likely to be scared,but very friendly.
She has a purple tag on her collar with her name and our phone number.We are desperate to get her back,please leave a message if you have seen her.Thank you.

I am so sorry to read this - I lost my terrier whilst walking him.

I have looked on Doglost and cannot see her so would suggest that you register her on there as there is a network of 'helpers' in most areas to assist your search.

I hope you find her.

Try putting her on the Okehampton facebook sites, and she must go on the dog lost. have you spoken to the Dog warden? and chase up Okeford and North Park vets in Oke. I will keep a look out on my travels, good luck finding her https://www.facebook.com/groups/okehamptonfreebies/

Judy - just seen on agilitynet your tragic news that you found her but she had drowned in a water tank. Im so so sorry for your loss xx

Thank you for your message of sympathy.I didn't manage to log on here yesterday,so for those that hadn't seen agilitynet......

Very sadly,I have to tell you that Libby was found yesterday morning,having drowned in a water tank up in the woods very close to where she went missing.

The kind people who found her ,fetched her back for us and we have since buried her in the field alongside our other border collie who died in June.As you can imagine,we are all devastated.

We have reported the tank and neighbours have made the area safe.

How sad and tragic, a local family to me lost their Boxer a few years ago and he was found drowned in someones swimming pool.
