MATADOR 12V ELECTRIC FENCER
when i bout them years ago the prices was great was bout £55 now everyone is saying £90 upwards.
so do you know of any that is cheap i can buy??
thanks

to connect to the earth they have a metal clip square thing, how to you clip that on, sorry i am used to the old style clip straight on. never used this before prob simple. but are they as good as, also they are very expensive any cheaper you can think of. although think i will have to spend that as i need it.
thanks

I have a matador, think I paid around £50 for it, then I had a friends hubby mount it on a stand for me. Does the job and seems to manage a fair bit of fencing

The pole is your earth and a small wire is already connected,so push pole well into ground,a couple buckets of water around the stake works well. Then the funny stainless clip slide over the tape and gentley bend the outer legs in to grip the tape.connect to battery and awayyou go. Easy.

the fencer is a hanginf one not a pole, thats why i was wondering how do you earth it? my own that just broke is a pole but the ones i was looking to buy is a hanging fencer, are they any good and how do you earth them. i use wooden posts.
