Feeling very chuffed with myself and self indulgent tonight, for one reason or another I haven't ridden for over a year despite owning 3 horses (my son rides and my hubby drives so they are not just glorified field ornaments) today I must have had a bit of spring in my feathers, was at yard on my own, got a boost of confidence and tacked up older mare took her for a 20 minute hack, then even more boosted from the enjoyment of that, I then tacked up younger mare and took her out for 15 mins or so, i'm feeling so happy tonight although I didn't go past walk to be honest it was hardly what most people would call riding but after a horrific accident a few years back which left me with absolutely no confidence, I never thought I would ever get on a horse again so there :p:D:D
 
Fantastic - I can only too well appreciate what a huge step forward that was for you - how exciting, well done, you must feel like swinging off the chandeliers - if you had any!!! Giives me hope - keep it up,as and when you are in that positive relaxed frame of mind, its great the boys keep them exercised so you can go at your own pace, well done x
 
Thanks everyone, i'm kind of buzzing like a kiddie on e-numbers LOL - just need to keep it up now and not let myself get knocked back, not looking forward to the aching bum tomorrow though :p
