Having a green eyed monster moment

Maybe because I am home alone as my OH is away, but I am feeling very jealous of two of my friends.

One got married today, she has a little boy, a great job and is very happy. The other announced she is pregnant today. I am so happy for both of them, but I do have a slight twinge of jealousy :O)

Dont get me wrong, I am very happy with my OH, we own a lovely house, have 2 cars and a pony but seeing all my friends getting married and having children makes me want to don a beautiful white dress and tiara :O) xx
 
Oh, flippin' 'eck, I thought it was 2012 for a moment and that women could be fulfilled without the white, fluffy wedding dress and ickle baby...
 
In the words of my OH; think of all that money, you could buy a really nice car with that!
And as for children, well they'd seriously eat into the time you have for horses. I only got mine after my daughter turned 16.
And if that's not enough to put you off, having a baby will almost certainly turn you into a big bore, talking incessantly about your baby, so none of your horsey friends will want to hang out with you! :-)
 
Marriage is seriously over rated! Dont get me wrong I love my husband but we would be together with or without that bit of paper

If its any consolation they probably envy you with your more carefree life, none of my friends are ever 100% content, I think its just human nature

I have fleeting moments like that. To be all dressed up, with perfect make-up and hair, with a perfect man.

Then I realise I'm happier alone, with the woof and neigh!
