I'm having a really rough few weeks. Lots of good and bad bits but i'm very overwhelmed and drained at the moment and all I keep thinking is how much I wish my doggy was still here. He passed away 4 years ago at the age of 15. He was a lovely boy, a Pomeranian with no teeth
They had to be taken out about 2 years before he passed so his tongue always hung out of his mouth! Funny boy.
He was very sensitive and literally cuddled me when I was sad. I wasn't with him when it happened as I was 15 myself (we got him when I was a baby) and was out riding. I came home one day to find out he had been PTS after discovery of a well developed brain tumor. We have no idea how long he had it, we just thought he was getting old. He also had poor vision bless him, but he was amazing. He had apparently been found curled up in my dressing gown on my floor and wouldn't move, wouldn't react to anything but was definitely alive and conscious.
He was my best friend and days like this are really hard without him, even 4 years later. Does anybody else ever get this?
I miss you Jakey
