My mare is neck and belly clipped, but it was so warm and sunny today i put her out rugless for the night (she was only rugged at night anyway for last week or so) and its going to be around 7-8 degrees in our area.

HOWEVER

I am now wetting myself and fretting and tempted to go rug her.

What would you do?

One of mines blanket clipped and i've just got in from putting his l/w rug back on,he had it off for the afternoon,he is anglo arab so a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold though :)

Two of ours are hunter clipped, they've been naked for 24/7 for the past week, possibly 2 weeks. Can't quite remember when we took them off. One is a welsh d, one a gypsy vanner. Will only put rugs back on if it chucks it down with rain, or gets below 2 degrees.

Yep, he's got his head, neck and half his body/belly out. A sort of funky chaser clip I'd guess. He's TB too if it helps :)

Where abouts are you amymay? Our forecast is around 8 degrees each night, however i have LW rugged her tonight as i was worried all last night, she will still have it off in the day though.

no harm will come to her for one night and she is better of a bit chilly than to hot so dont beat your self u hun - they are hardier than we give them credit for xxx
